The USPTO website shows they are on MPEP 8th edition, Revision 5. Does the test really cover Revision 4?
Solution For right now it does. The USPTO updates the MPEP, but the Patent Bar exam often lags behind. So sometimes a newer version of the MPEP is out, but it isn't yet tested. You may confirm this right on the official USPTO website by clicking here...

http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/dcom/gcounsel/oed.htm

Even after it is posted that Revision 5 will be tested, you will still have 90-days notice before the material is incorporated into the exam.

You will want to study with MPEP Revision 4 materials until the Patent Bar Exam is updated. Our materials are based on Revision 4.

You may read the official notice on the Patent Office website

Once the Patent Bar exam starts incorporating Revision 5 materials, we will provide you with the updates in PDF format free of charge. You will be able to download these from the Client Center.
